hw 7 reading response

Fast Food Nation, Eric Schlosser

chapter one is about how this man eric schlosser met the sort of father of fast food, and the man who created the carl's jr chain. He speaks about how the nice towns where it was so green, became littered with fast food joints. IT is also about how fast food joints originated from the simplest forms of becoming vendor to chain owners

Chapter 2

this is about how the evil corporations are taking control of the children's minds so that now kids will remember these fast food places, the characters that endorse it, as well as the food they serve. It is about the manipulation of the children's mind so that they will force their parents to buy them the unhealthy food.

My big question is why is it that these parents know what these corporations are doing but they are still purchasing the foods.

America is littered with fast food places, it is just so hard to get away and resist the temptations when they surround you in every direction.

This reminds me of the burgerking commercial when the cooks gave these people from like a 3rd world country a whopper, and the people ate it and loved it. It is like people are zombies to this fake food and we all love it because of the ways that it is advertised, even though the people had never ate a bk burger, the first bite sold them immediately.
