In this cahpter i read about how these slaughterhouses are digusting places and how they provide unsafe working environments. These places abuse its laborers and they commit crimes on a daily basis but are not punished for it. The slaughter houses are where the most injuries can occur and the least amount are reported and discussed. These corporations found ways to beat the system and that was by trapping its workers in a secrecy bond. Also in a way, they blackmail and bribe the workers. They give wokers prizes or doing good and then if the people are hurt, they get treated and are told to go back to work asap and they are treated like trash. The people who got hurt working for these compainies should at least be respected, but they are usually outcasted and looked at as insignificant.

gems: sexual harrassment in slaughterhouses are very common in which the female workers are preyed upon and disrespected physically, even sometimes by their bossess with the body parts of animals, just so that these workers can get promoted.

To me slaugterhouses are notonly slaughtering animals, but they slaughter humans. The number of accidents per year is incredible and sad, but its like these people experience what the animals do. I think it is very sad that this work has to be done and this whole business of food is corrupt and it just upsets me that i cant do anything about it.
